My husband and I are trying to adopt a baby born 10 weeks premature on drugs. It's a hard situation to see a baby you already feel is your own struggle to live because of choices his mother made while pregnant. We listen to your song "Our God Reigns Here" almost daily, and we sing it to our 6 month old baby as we fight to live it out while praying for baby Joshua. 		Gina Chancey December 01, 2009 02:07 PM It's probably been 14-15 years ago, but my pastor husband and I attended Youth Evangelism conference with our youth group in Macon, GA and you sang "Standing Ovation" in the afternoon session at local church. That has been one of my husband's favorite songs and he has made referene to it many times in his sermons. So much so that I have it written in the margin of my Bible. I am trying to locate the lyrics and possible soundtrack and/or accompaniment for that song because he loves it so well. Any help would be appreciated. We saw you were going to be the feature artist on our local Christian station in the coming weeks and it jogged our memory so I started googling. I found many questions about "Standing Ovation" as well as your recent works but could not find what I was looking for exactly. Thanks!

I heard it for the first time a long time ago and just recently felt the holy spirit leading me to it again. So I downloaded it from iTunes and I know that every word in it is for our church right now! I can't get it out of my mind, I just feel like the rest of our church has GOT to hear this! It has been inspirational for me over the last few months, as my life, like many others, is tough right now and God is teaching me to wait on Him. I have heard it on the radio recently and wondered who it was. Last night someone gave me a ticket to the Salisbury, MD concert and I was hesitant to go because I didn't really know who Casting Crowns was ... then they told me you would be there and you sang the "Waiting" song. I left work, grabbed the ticket and went straight to the concert. Hearing you sing that song, along with your other songs, was inspirational beyond words to me. I pray the Lord will bless your ministry and reward you openly for the waiting you have done in private.

My dream is to be a singer and I hope to see it come true since I am only 15 years old I know I have a long time to wait but this song has already pertained to my life even as i was little. See I have an identical twin sister and we were born premature by 3 months and my sister only weighed 1 pound 7 oz. and she was only supposed to live a couple of hours. I weighed 2 pounds 6 oz. and wasn't supposed to live either but my parents didn't give up and they had everybody they knew praying for us that God would give them a miracle and 4 months later we could come home so waiting is not that easy. Now my parents are going thorough a pretty rough divorce and I know eventhough it is painful God will bring me out closer to him on the otherside I just wish my dad would have known that and still had a good relationship with God. but enough sad talk I just want to think you for everything you've done so far and all that you will do. Someday I hope you can come to Little Rock Arkansas. 		Crystal Brothers July 25, 2009 09:11 AM I'm not sure if you will ever read this or not, but I really wanted to share. I just had a son who is in the NICU. He was having seizures and they found a damaged spot on his brain that is causing them. They have no idea how the spot will affect him in the future. Other parts of his brain could compensate so that he lives a normal life and isn't at all affected. Or, the other end of the spectrum is that he could be completely unaware of his surroundings mentally, never walk or crawl, or have cerebral palsy. They have no idea...only time will tell, as he is only 6 days old. i have always loved your song, 'While I'm waiting,' and now it definitely applies to my life and situation and the lyrics remind me that all I can do is trust in Him and serve Him through this no matter what. I wish so badly he could hear your some of your songs. I know that they would speak loudly to him. I tell him about your music but music isnt something that they get to hear in jail.
